Alphabet Art!

Early Creativity and Literacy
Your child will love learning their sounds and letters. Projects and lessons build on creative age-appropriate early literacy activities. Students willexperience letters, sounds and words through all of their senses while having a blast and creating a keepsake alphabet book they'll be proud of forever.

• Ages 3-7 — 1 to 3:30 pm M-F

Art and Creative Writing

Creativity Sampler

Come discover the excitement of drawing, painting, collage and creative writing. Students will tap into their unique creative voices and visions to create a portfolio overflowing with color and joy. Projects include paper mache, 3D collage, bookmaking, short fiction, poetry, contour drawing and painting. This class is taught as a community of young artists in which each student has a vital role in the success and energy of the group.

• Grades K to 4 — 3:30 - 5:30 pm Wednesday

Lightning Writing Workshop

Come experience the writing workshop that takes students on a journey of expression. From words, to sentences to paragraphs to essays, students will dive into the wonderful world of writing. With an emphasis on ideas, this class has taken many young writers from struggling to confident and clear writers. Class is tailored to meet the needs of individual writers.

• Grades 5-8 — 3:30 - 5:30 pm Thursday

Animation Station

Students will learn the basics of animation through fun projects designed just for their age. Each animator will experince giving life to commonn inanimate objects, creating a clay characters, and animating their creations. Each student will recieve a DVD of their animations at the conclusion of the course.

• Ages 10 and up 3:30 — 5:30 pm Monday

Creative Way of Life

Creativity for Adults This class is designed for men and women and holds a promise of finding, unfolding, developing, becoming – through mixed media. For those who love to be creative but feel inhibited and without talent. For beginners, advanced students, professionals. For singles, doubles, for poo-pooers. A great way to spend a Friday evening.

• 7-10 pm alternate Fridays

This course was originally taught in the summer of 1969 by renowned artist Gemma Taccogna.
